Can guys and girls really be friends? With famous male-female friendships like BTOB and Apink or CL and G-Dragon, it’s easy to see that yes, guys and girls can be friends. But there are actually a lot more male-female idol friendships that are less known! Check out some of these friendships below.


1. INFINITE’s L and f(x)’s Krystal

Krystal and L‘s friendship can be traced back to 2015 when a video surfaced of the two teasing each other.


L also said that Krystal was the ideal female best friend and the two were seen hanging out together during breaks while filming My Lovely Girl.


2. EXO’s Suho and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona

Suho and Yoona‘s friendship goes back to their trainee days. He doesn’t even call Yoona noona even though she is a year older than him and they share some inside jokes.


Suho has gone to Yoona’s movie premieres and she, in turn, has gone to EXO concerts!


3. BTS’ V and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona

V and Yoona’s friendship is on the newer side. They got to know each other when Yoona went to BTSWings Tour and was invited backstage. V took the opportunity to snap some pictures with her and the rest is history!


4. NCT’s Mark and gugudan’s Mina

Mark and Mina have known each other for quite some time. They were in the same class together at School of Performing Arts Seoul.


At their graduation, they were spotting reaching out for each other even though they sat close by! They haven’t had many reactions on stage yet, but their friendship shines regardless.


5. Jeon Somi and WANNA ONE’s Lee Daehwi

Jeon Somi and Lee Daehwi have been close since their middle school days. They also haven’t been shy about showing off their friendship, often take silly pictures together!


Somi also was seen hugging Daehwi after he finished third on Produce 101.


6. ASTRO’s Moonbin and GFRIEND’s SinB

Moonbin and SinB go back a long way. They actually lived next to each other growing up.


They may not interact a lot on stage but they obviously mean a lot to each other. SinB even mentioned Moonbin in her album dedication!
