First, grab some julienne cut strips of green onions and marinate with one tablespoon of red pepper powder, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Add half a tablespoon of salt and vinegar. This should taste like the green onion salad served at KBBQ restaurants.

Grill some pork belly. When browned, add the green onion salad on the grill. Add one more tablespoon of red pepper powder and soy sauce to the grill. Heat until everything is thoroughly cooked.

3. Buldak Fried Rice

Here’s how you can use that last pack of buldak hot chicken ramen. First, cook the noodles only. Cut them up into small pieces and set aside for magic later.

On a heated pan, start frying up some diced onion and ham. Beat an egg or two and add to the pan.

Once the egg is cooked, add the noodles, some rice, and the buldak sauce to the mix. Don’t use the whole packet of the sauce… or do. That depends on how much of a challenge you want the meal to be. Use the flake packet to garnish and serve with clear warning.

4. Kimchi Fried Rice

Any kimchi fried rice recipe is old but gold. Keep this one up your sleeve for an easy-breezy dinner prep!

First, you’re going to need one paper cup full of chopped kimchi. Add a half paper cup full of tuna. Start cooking!

5. Creamy Fried Rice

If you’re in the mood for something fusion, you have to try this risotto-like creamy fried rice!

Marinate some chopped bacon with four tablespoons soy sauce and a tablespoon of sugar, soju, and minced garlic. Set aside.

Heat the pan with cooking oil. Add chopped green onions and half an onion to bring out the flavors. Toss in the marinated bacon and cook to a nice brown color.

When the smell is irresistible, add a bowl of rice and a pinch of pepper. After mixing the rice in, add 200ml of milk. That’s about 0.8 cup. When it simmers to a creamy texture, smother in cheese to complete. Boom — Your alfredo dream come true.

6. Butter Egg Fried Rice

In one of the pans, prepare a serving of kimchi fried rice (or you can use recipe number 4 above!) For a quicker version, you can add a cup of chopped kimchi, a cup of chopped ham, a tablespoon of sugar and red pepper powder to a bowl of rice and stir fry.

In the other pan, melt a block of butter. Heat the egg and lightly scramble. Right about when it’s starting to clutter, pour it over the kimchi fried rice. Choose to garnish with some green onions — or maybe even parsley powder. Whatever floats your boat. Embrace the visual. Indulge.
