All idols debut fairly young, but there are some who debuted really young! These x idols all debuted at the young age of 14, and stunned everyone with their visuals and talents at such a young age!

1. SHINee’s Taemin

Most fans know that SHINee‘s Taemin debuted in 2008 as the group’s main dancer and maknae, but get shocked at knowing that he debuted at the very young age of 14! Over the years, he’s established himself as one of the top senior artists to look up to, and boasts incredible talent in both singing and dancing!

 

2. IZ*ONE’s Wonyoung

After participating in Produce 48 and making the cut for the final group lineup, IZ*ONE‘s Jang Wonyoung debuted in 2018 as the center, lead dancer, and maknae of the group at the age of 14! Born in 2004, Wonyoung was one of the youngest participants on the survival show, and wowed fans with her talent, visuals and adorable personality!

 

3. f(x)’s Krystal

Just a few weeks shy of turning 15 in 2009, f(x)‘s Krystal made her debut at the age of 14 as the lead vocalist and maknae of the group with their debut song “LA chA TA”, and the rest is history!

 

4. NCT Dream’s Jisung

NCT Dream debuted in 2016 with the single “Chewing Gum”, and Jisung debuted as the main dancer and maknae of the group at the very young age of 14!

 

5. Former KARA member Kang Jiyoung

KARA initially debuted as a group of four, and experienced lineup changes right before their first comeback. Kang Jiyoung joined the group as a new member during this change in members, and became the new maknae of the group at the age of 14!

Former Wonder Girls‘ member Ahn Sohee is a famous idol visual in K-Pop, and when she debuted at 14 years old as the maknae of the group in 2007, she immediately went viral for her adorable “omona!” part in the group’s hit song “Tell Me”!

Before debuting as a member of 4MINUTE, HyunA debuted as the main rapper of Wonder Girls under JYP Entertainment at the age of 14! She eventually left the group and label, however, due to health issues, and signed with CUBE Entertainment, later debuting as the main rapper and main dancer of the group in 2009!
