1. Originally planned to be released on November 2, 2018, the release date has been pushed back to an unspecified date in 2019.

Disney has pointed out two possible release dates as November 8, 2019, and December 20, 2019.

2. There were rumors that the male lead in the movie would be caucasian but Disney has also debunked that rumor.

They stated that the main roles in the film will all be played by Chinese actors.

3. Liu Yifei has been confirmed to play the role of Mulan.

4. Ming Na Wen, the voice for Mulan in the original film, showed her approval for the selection of Liu Yifei.
