These Are EXO’s Latest MBTI Results, And What They Say About The Members Is Surprisingly Accurate
While not completely accurate, many people describe their personalities in accordance with their MBTI (Myer-Briggs Type Indicator) results. With EXO‘s Sehun revealing his MBTI in a recent interview with ELLE KOREA, EXO-Ls now know the MBTIs of seven out of the nine members. Perhaps the biggest surprise about their MBTIs is that they have more letters in common than not, and one letter is entirely missing.
1. Suho
As EXO’s leader, it’s not surprising that Suho is an ENFJ. Known as the “Protagonist,” people with this personality type have a loving heart for others, striving to make a positive impact on the world. With strong and steadfast values and a creative mindset, this personality type isn’t afraid to fight for what’s right, no matter how difficult.
Suho has always protected EXO and EXO-Ls with all his might, living up to the meaning of his stage name. Unwavering in his beliefs, tenacious in his musical dreams, and gentle in his love, Suho is a perfect example of an ENFJ.
2. Xiumin
As EXO’s oldest member, Xiumin is an ISFJ. Known as the “Defender,” these personality types are hardworking and devoted, with a great sense of responsibility and love towards the people around them. Loyal, humble, and kind, this personality type makes the world go round, though they’ll never boast about it.
Xiumin is a pillar of strength for EXO, whether as the ace in their performances or as the older brother in their daily lives. It’s in the smaller interactions that Xiumin’s altruistic personality shines through, and as EXO’s dependable hyung, Xiumin is always there for the other members with open arms.
3. Baekhyun
As EXO’s resident mood maker, Baekhyun is surprisingly not an extrovert and is an ISFP. Known as the “Adventurer,” these personality types are full of artistry and creativity, eager to explore the world and grow their talents. They’re also adaptable, harmonious, and incredibly humble, living the way they want and only focusing on what and who they love.
Playful to the point of being a troublemaker, Baekhyun lives every day to the fullest. But despite his free spirit and genius talent, Baekhyun is the definition of his motto, “Be brave, be humble,” and thanks to his harmonious nature, he’s never been hesitant in showering his members with love.
4. Chanyeol
As EXO’s representative of fire, Chanyeol is the only other extrovert in EXO and is an ENFP. Known as the “Campaigner,” people with this personality type have big dreams, bigger energy, and even bigger hearts. Bursting with creativity and curiosity, these personality types light up the lives of those around them.
Chanyeol is full of passion for both music and people, and his enthusiasm and laughter are always contagious. Chanyeol’s love for the members can’t be contained, and he’ll use all creative means possible in order to gift EXO and EXO-Ls the most meaningful and loving surprises.
5. D.O.
Within EXO, D.O. has the most unexpected but adorable charms, being a perfect mix of savage, sweet, and funny. Like Xiumin, he’s also an ISFJ.
D.O. is thoughtful and sweet, full of love and care for everyone around him, whether it be his members, fans, or staff. As an award-winning actor, D.O. often juggles his actor and idol life, but his loyalty to EXO is unwavering, and he always finds a way to do everything he loves with the people he cherishes.
6. Kai
Though he’s fierce on stage, Kai is extremely shy, which is why him being an INFJ isn’t surprising to fans at all. Known as the “Advocate,” people with this personality type have vivid imaginations and the burning integrity to pursue their wildest dreams. INFJs are encouraging and compassionate, and while introverted, all their relationships are full of sincerity.
Although he’s shy, Kai pours out his entire heart into whatever and whoever he loves, and he’s loud and proud of it. On stage, Kai captivates everyone with his artistry. Off stage, he’s as warm, clumsy, and loving as a teddy bear, winning the hearts of all his members, as well as anyone who lays eyes on him.
7. Sehun
As EXO’s precious maknae, Sehun is an INFP. Known as the “Mediator,” people with this personality type are empathetic and truthful, and while calm and reserved, their souls burn with creativity and passion. INFPs are full of optimism and hope to make the world a better place, and their dedication and hard work should never be underestimated.
As an artist, Sehun’s creativity and hard work have led him to grow his talents in both the music and acting industries. Underneath Sehun’s calm and quiet appearance, he’s constantly reflecting on himself and thinking of others. Full of sincerity and loyalty toward his loved ones, his tendency to be adorable and mischievous around his members proves his deep love for them.
And while we don’t yet know Lay or Chen‘s MBTI, it wouldn’t be surprising if they’re also Feelers. Like the other members, Lay and Chen are full of love, humility, and loyalty, and that won’t change no matter what their personality type is.
