These Four K-Pop Idols Covered This Incredible New Disney Classic And Each Will Leave You “Speechless”

Any one of them could sing on the OST and no one would complain.

It looks like Aladdin‘s “Speechless” is the latest Disney classic that’s taking the world by storm. It’s a strong ballad that is a little reminiscent of it’s global phenomenon predecessor “Let It Go”. And also like “Let It Go”, K-Pop idols are loving it right along with the rest of the world.

A few days shy of a month after its release and four K-Pop idols have tried their hand at the powerhouse of a song. Three of the four were actually uploaded on the same day: June 21. (June 21 has now been officially deemed “Speechless” Day)

1. NCT’s Doyoung

K-Pop’s reigning cover king Doyoung‘s famous covers have even caught the attention of other idols, and with a soft-yet-strong voice practically made for ballads “Speechless” was a perfect fit.

2. Dreamcatcher Siyeon

Ballads are a slight departure from Dreamcatcher‘s signature K-Pop/Rock Princess sound, but Siyeon absolutely slayed “Speechless” with sweet and clear voice.

3. Park Jimin

Park Jimin tackles the high-note heavy ballad effortlessly with her legendary sultry, soulful vocals.

4. NC.A

NC.A was ahead of the wave, releasing her cover a few days earlier on June 19. Speaking of waves, her cover is a tidal wave of talent “meant to wash [fans] away”.

Hopefully more idols will join in on the wave and bless fans with their covers of “Speechless”.
