13 Young Idols & Groups Who Encouraged Everyone To Vote In Today’s National Election

Today, April 15, is a big day in South Korea: the country is holding a national election despite the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) crisis. That’s why numerous idols have taken to social media urging their young fans to exercise their right to vote and make the country a better place. Here are 13 idols and groups that did just that.

1. Suga (BTS)

Today, BTS’s Suga greeted ARMYs with some selfies. He told fans he already pre-voted with the members and reminded everyone to vote before settling in for the day.

2. Jaemin (NCT)

NCT’s Jaemin told fans that today was his first time voting and that the feeling he got was one he’s never felt before.

3. Jisung (NCT)

NCT’s Jisung has also reached voting age. When he posted his vote certification, he remarked on how fast time flies.

4. Suyun & Yunkyoung (Rocket Punch)

Rocket Punch’s duo “Suyunkyoung” (Suyun and Yunkyoung) posted their vote certificates and urged their fans to vote just like they did.

5. Jeno (NCT)

Another first-time voter from NCT is Jeno. He told NCTzens he was nervous at first, but now he’s proud.

6. Jaehyun (NCT)

NCT’s Jaehyun posted a simple tweet to let fans know that he’d completed his vote, showing off his proof slip.

7. Keonhee (ONEUS)

While ONEUS’s Keonhee didn’t post his vote certification, he did encourage fans to vote, saying that lots of individuals have the power to achieve one big result.

8. Sandara Park

Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park uploaded a snap of herself at her local polling booth, where she voted before heading to her next schedule.

9. Minzy

Fellow former 2NE1 Minzy didn’t take a certification photo as there were a lot of other voters waiting around in masks, but she did post a video on Twitter encouraging everyone to vote.

10. Gongchan (B1A4)

B1A4’s Gongchan didn’t have time to take a picture of his vote certification slip, but he reminded fans that there was still time to vote if they didn’t get a chance to already.

11. Sandeul (B1A4)

Fellow B1A4 member Sandeul also reminded fans that it wasn’t too late to vote, uploading a photo of himself at the polling booth.

12. Lu (NATURE)

NATURE’s Lu posted some pretty selfies online accompanied by a reminder to vote today.

13. 1TEAM

All 5 members of 1TEAM (Rubin, BC, Jinwoo, Jehyun, and Junghoon) all posed together with their voting proof slips. The group even made a video about voting for their fans.
