9. TREASURE

TREASURE’s latest album, The First Step: Treasure Effect, which was released on January 12 this year, was able to land this rookie group at #9 on this ranking! Between it and also sales from their other albums, they’ve sold around 332.4k units so far this year.

8. ASTRO

ASTRO’s All Yours, released on April 6, was the second best-selling K-Pop album of the month! With sales from it and thousands of sales from older albums too, they sold about 386.3k units in 2021.

7. ATEEZ

ATEEZ’s recent release, ZERO: FEVER Part.2, is their best-selling album to date, and was one of the top-selling albums in March when it was released. In 2021 so far, the group has sold around 409.5k total units!

6. WayV

WayV’s Kick Back was another big seller in March, and even sold ovre 50k units in April after it was released on March 10. It contributed to a large majority of their 416.2k albums sold in 2021 so far!

5. SHINee

SHINee’s long-awaited comeback was a huge success, with both Don’t Call Me and its repackaged version Atlantis doing incredibly well in terms of sales! For 2021, the senior group has sold around 417.8k albums.

4. Super Junior

Super Junior was another senior SM Entertainment group that fans were eagerly waiting to have a comeback, and after some delays, their 10th studio album The Renaissance came out on March 16 and gave them the majority of their 455.5k sales this year!

3. NCT

NCT’s latest series of albums, Resonance Pt. 1 and Resonance Pt. 2, came out late last year, and their sales continued heavily into 2021! So, even though they didn’t actually release a new album this year, they’ve made 529.7k sales already.

2. ENHYPEN

ENHYPEN’s sales skyrocketed after their very recent album release, Border: Carnival! Released on April 26, it was the best-selling album of the month with over 375k sales, and makes up a large portion of their total 596.2k album sales of 2021!

1. BTS

Of course, it shouldn’t be a surprise that BTS came out on top of the list! Dropping the Essential version of their 2020 album BE in February this year made their sales go up immensely, though some of their old albums continue to make tens of thousands of sales monthly as well! In 2021, they’ve made 1.99 million total sales.
