These Are The 24 Active K-Pop Girl Groups Who Currently Have The Longest Hiatus

How much longer will fans have to wait?

Yesterday we looked at the 25 “active” K-Pop boy groups that have been on the longest hiatus, so of course, it’s only fair that we look into girl groups as well.

Red Velvet’s Joy

Interestingly, the girl group on this list with the longest hiatus isn’t that much longer than the boy group on the previous list with the shortest hiatus. This may be due to girl groups tending to disband, rather than go for years without a comeback.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon

Here are the 24 K-Pop girl groups who are considered “active” (that is, haven’t had an official disbandment) that have been waiting the longest for a comeback (not including non-major or Japanese releases!).
