Netizens Believe These K-Pop Idols Get The Most Undeserved Hate
Sometimes netizens just won’t let things go, or even more unfairly, hate on K-Pop idols for seemingly no reason. There are some idols in the industry that get more hate than others, and here is a list of them.
1. IU
Some netizens began to dislike her simply because many male idols describe her as their ideal type. Fortunately, a lot of netizens are supportive of the new relationship between her and Lee Jong Suk.
2. Cha Eunwoo (ASTRO)
Cha Eunwoo gets undeserved hate for being the most popular member of ASTRO due to his good looks, which is something he has no control over.
3. Jennie (BLACKPINK)
Between so-called “bad attitude” and “lazy dancing”, Jennie has become one of the most criticized idols in the industry. She’s also been receiving hate simply for dating. A lot of her (and the rest of BLACKPINK’s) hate is believed to be a result of their high popularity.
4. Kai (EXO)
Kai has had a couple of dating news (with f(x)‘s Krystal and BLACKPINK’s Jennie), which have unfairly soured some people’s views of him.
5. Jungkook, V, and Jimin (BTS)
The maknae line of BTS seems to get more hate than others, and it’s unclear of the real reason why. Many believe it’s mostly just nonsensical criticism.
6. Tzuyu (TWICE)
Tzuyu is criticized the most heavily in TWICE for being the visual and not having the best vocals or lacking emotion on stage, but over the years she’s proven to be a talented idol and isn’t just there for her good looks.
7. Sakura (LE SSERAFIM)
Some netizens think that Sakura received too much screen-time and favoritism while on Produce 48 compared to the other girls on the show. However, even if that is true, it isn’t her fault. She’s carried her success from IZ*ONE to LE SSERAFIM, proving that she’s an idol worthy of praise and attention.
8. Yeri (Red Velvet)
Even though Yeri has been in the group for years now, some people are still angry that she was added to Red Velvet later than the other members and call her talentless or undeserving, which isn’t fair to her.
