Korean Netizens Rank Their Top 10 Most Popular “Penthouse” Characters
With the third and final season of The Penthouse: War in Life due to draw to a close next month, everyone has firm opinions about which characters are the best to watch on screen. Now, in a recent poll, almost 10,000 Korean netizens cast their vote for the most popular characters of all—here are their picks. NOTE: May contain spoilers for the first two seasons of Penthouse!
10. Lee Kyu Jin
Beom Tae Gyu‘s character Lee Kyu Jin is a successful lawyer and “mommy’s boy” from a long line of legal professionals, later becoming an assemblyman in season two of “Penthouse.” He received 0.15% of the votes, ranking 10th overall.
9. Joo Seok Kyung
Han Ji Hyun‘s character Joo Seok Kyung is the daughter of Joo Dan Tae and Shim Su Ryeon, known for her cunning and selfish scheming ways. She received 0.19% of the votes, ranking 9th overall.
8. Joo Seok Hoon

Lee Ji Ah‘s character Shim Su Ryeon is Joo Dan Tae’s former wife, the dignified woman with a tragic past who is crushed in season one upon learning her long-lost daughter, Min Seol Ah, was murdered. She received 10.77% of the votes, ranking 3rd overall. Lee Ji Ah also played lookalike Na Ae Gyo in season two.
2. Oh Yoon Hee
Eugene‘s character Oh Yoon Hee is Cheon Seo Jin’s childhood rival, a humble and hardworking mother who will do anything for her daughter’s success despite her lack of money. She received 29.50% of the votes, ranking 2nd overall

And first place goes to Park Eun Seok‘s character Logan Lee, a Korean-American businessman and Min Seol Ah’s adoptive brother. He received 43.75% of the votes. Park Eun Seok also played Gu Ho Dong, a gym teacher in disguise, in season one.
