The two A-list actors have known each other for over a decade, having been co-stars in the films like The Negotiation (2018) and the K-Drama Crash Landing on You (2019-2020).

While Son Ye Jin appeared on Hyun Bin’s drama, Secret Garden in 2010,, they did not meet on set. They first saw each other in 2014 at the Bucheon International Film Festival (PiFan). As two recipients of the Producer’s Choice Awards, they sat beside each other and walked on stage together. They looked distant but polite as is common courtesy towards other professionals.
2. The Negotiation (2018)
They began to know each other as friends during the filming of The Negotiation. Son Ye Jin played the role of a crisis negotiator working with the hostage taker played by Hyun Bin.
Though they posted on Instagram together and were spotted in what appeared to be dates, they still denied they were seeing each other.
3. Crash Landing On You (2019-2020).
Crash Landing On You is one of the most iconic K-Dramas of the past decade. It is also where Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin officially fell in love.
According to Dispatch on January 1, they began dating eight months prior to being outed as the annual New Year’s couple.
4. Wedding Ceremony (2022)
They confirmed their relationship in 2021 and were married soon after in 2022. It was a fairytale wedding come to life, with the couple looking overjoyed and at peace at the same time.
They were living out the “happily ever after” of K-Drama couples!
They then jetted off to their honeymoon the following month, looking classy and laidback in their matching white outfits.
5. Dodger’s Baseball Game (2024)
Finally, after keeping their marriage lowkey for years, the two surprised fans by showing up in public together on March 21. They went on a date alongside actors Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook to attend the baseball match between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres game at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
