5 Special Perks Given To HYBE Employees That Make Us Want To Work There ASAP

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work for a K-Pop company? The MBC reality show The Manager gave viewers a glimpse into this life by following around the managers of LE SSERAFIM.

Their company, Source Music, is a subsidiary of HYBE which is gaining attention for treating their employees well.

1. Vacation Leaves

First up, according to one employee, HYBE cares greatly about the work-life balance of their staff. They encourage them to take all of their vacation leaves before the year ends. In fact, they even have special incentives for them to do so.

The company strongly encourages us to use our vacation days. They give out a bonus based on the use of our vacation days. When everyone on our team uses up the vacation days, the company gives us a bonus toward the end of the year.

2. Check-ups

Employees can even visit the recent addition to the company: an in-house doctor.

We recently got an in-house doctor at the company. [So now] we have health specialists.

Besides regular check-ups, they can also avail of IV bags and other injections for when they are not at their peak.

We can get IV bags. If we need medical attention, we can get it. With this system, we can meet with a doctor more comfortably.

3. Cafeteria Food

Something that makes their daily lives better is the exclusive cafeteria that they have access to. The food here is said to be delicious and affordable, being only around ₩2,000 KRW (about $1.50 USD), much less than the average lunch that can cost upwards of ₩12,000 KRW (about $9.01 USD) outside.

The prices are reasonable and the meals are healthy too. There’s a wide array of dishes as well.

Employees can choose from a variety of dishes ranging from Korean to Western food and they can choose to dine-in or take-out.

They can also build their own salad according to their preferences.

4. Projection Room

A mini movie theatre with several rows of cushioned seats is located somewhere in the seventh floor. Teams can watch movies or other videos for work as comfortably as if they were in a cinema.

5. Nap Room

Finally, HYBE is a modern company that even added a nap room to their building. Several capsule beds complete with curtains for privacy are available for anyone’s use as well as two high-end massage chairs!
