This is likely due to how increasingly popular the music genre has become, even as the purchase of physical albums overall has declined due to the increased usage of streaming sites and digital sales. These 20 albums, according to Gaon, are the best-selling albums so far in 2020 through the month of July, all of which have 200,000+ sales, which is incredible!

20. The Nocturne by NU’EST

The Nocturne, NU’EST’s 8th mini-album, is now also their best-selling! The album, whose title song is “I’m In Trouble”, came out on May 11 and has sold 202.2k units.

19. Monster by Red Velvet’s Irene & Seulgi

Monster is Red Velvet’s Irene & Seulgi’s first mini-album, with a title song of the same name. Released on July 6, the album has sold 206.4k total copies.

18. ZERO: FEVER Part.1 by ATEEZ

ZERO: FEVER Part.1 is ATEEZ’s fifth and most recent album, released on July 29. With the title song “INCEPTION”, the album has sold a total of 208.8k units!
