This song was played when she was eliminated from the survival show, SIXTEEN, through which TWICE was formed. “It was difficult to hear the song at that moment,” she said.

Fortunately, Momo became a TWICE member anyway, and she thought the song may have played a part in her return. “I think that’s why I came back,” she said.

2. “Banana Pancakes” by Jack Johnson

Mina chose Jack Johnson’s “Banana Pancakes.”

She couldn’t remember exactly when she first heard the song, but she guessed that she was a young elementary school student when she first heard it.

Mina has fond memories of listening to the song with her dad. She said, “When I was young, my dad loved listening to this song. We listened to it a lot while we were driving.”

3. “BYE” by Jaden

Chaeyoung chose “BYE” by Jaden.

She said she chose this song because it reminds her of summer, her favorite season.

4. “The Feels” by TWICE

Dahyun chose TWICE’s latest single, “The Feels.”

5. “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole

Nayeon chose Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Although she can’t remember when she first heard it, Nayeon said she remembers “feeling very warm inside” when she heard this song. She also heard it once while on her way to one of TWICE’s scheduled appearances on a rainy day, and it made her feel good. She said she’s been listening to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” when she wants to feel good ever since then.
