Kim Yoo Jung to record her final live broadcast of Inkigayo as its MC
Young actress Kim Yoo Jung will be bidding viewers farewell in the upcoming April 3rd episode of Inkigayo as she records her final episode as an MC.
Kim Yoo Jung first joined Inkigayo as one of its MCs in November 16, 2014 and after over a year with the program, will be saying goodbye. She is the youngest MC to join Inkigayo at 15 years old. At the time of her joining, she performed a special performance of “Mr. Chu” as her welcome stage.
Music show PD Lee Yang Hwa praised the actress for her excellent skills on the show, bringing a balance to the three MC-team with her cute and youthful charms, adding that despite her young age, her MC skills were flawless.
With Kim Yoo Jung leaving the show, no female replacement has been chosen or announced yet. Thus for the time being, a special MC, who will be MCing alongside BTOB‘s Sungjae and GOT7‘s Jackson, will be assigned each week until a permanent replacement is found.
For the first week of April, artists GOT7 and Jang Beom Jun will be going head-to-head for the #1 place.
Inkigayo will air later today (April 3rd) at 3:40pm KST.
