The Story Between 2PM’s Junho And His Ethopian Friend Will Leave You Crying

Their story will leave you crying.

2PM’s Junho recently participated in the 2018 Global 6K for Water marathon in Seoul. Thousands of participants ran 6 kilometers, the average distance that African children walk everyday to get clean drinking water.

At the event, Junho was surprised by a special guest from Ethiopia who flew to Seoul to see him! The special guest turned out to be Felmeta, the child Junho has been supporting and sponsoring for 8 years through World Vision!

Junho and Felmeta meet for the first time in 2012, when Junho traveled to Ethiopia to see him. Felmeta was 10 years old at the time.

Now, 16-year-old Felmeta is almost as tall as Junho! Junho shared a heartwarming message about how he wished his friendship with Felmeta could inspire others to do the same.

“I was touched to see that the child I have been supporting has grown up so well and so healthy. I hope that many people will continue to sponsor other children in Africa who struggle to get clean drinking water.”

— Junho

Not only did Felmeta share how thankful he was to the artist, he participated in the marathon as well.

What a heart-warming story between Junho and Felmeta!
