AB6IX’s Daehwi Puts Woong’s Insecurities About Songwriting To Rest With His Reassuring Words

Daehwi is Woong’s biggest cheerleader.

It’s hard to believe that AB6IX are only a few months old!

For one thing, they’ve already sold over 150,000 copies of their debut album “B Complete.

And perhaps the most impressive fact is the members have been heavily involved in writing lyrics for all the songs on their debut albums.

In an interview with MTV News, the members were asked about the first lyric they wrote.

Woong has not been accredited with writing or producing the songs in AB6IX’s debut album. However, he revealed that he was working hard on studying songwriting.

In fact, he revealed, that he wrote his first lyrics quite recently.

Drift away, slowly, so I can hang onto you.

Because he is a rookie songwriter, Woong expressed his self-consciousness about his lyrics.

I write lyrics that are a bit embarrassing.

Hearing this, Daehwi immediately stepped in to reassure Woong that he is a great songwriter.

No it’s not, it’s perfect!

Woong reacted with happiness to Daehwi’s words. Considering Daehwi’s involvement with the group’s songwriting, it is clear that his support means a lot.

Fellow member Woojin also agreed with Daehwi’s words. It is clear that Daehwi is always rooting for Woong, even if he lacks confidence in something.

Even though Woong is trying out something new, Daehwi is always there for him, every step of the way.

And you knew Daehwi was telling the truth, because when Woojin revealed his first lyric was “Yo my name is Woojin, I have arrived”, Daehwi couldn’t resist laughing.

Hopefully, fans will be able to see Woong try his hand with more songwriting on AB6IX’s upcoming album “6ixsense”.

The album will be released on October 7, 2019.
