Active K-Pop Idol Spills On The Pregnancy Ban And How Her Fellow Member Broke The Clause

A female K-Pop idol recently expressed dissatisfaction with a fellow member’s pregnancy, telling everyone about the pregnancy ban clause in their contracts.

On the 28th, a video titled “Hyunyoung’s mental has completely collapsed” was posted on YouTube. In the video, space content creator Orbit appeared and had various conversations with former Rainbow member Hyunyoung.

When Orbit asked about her recent situation, Hyunyoung confessed, “These days it’s tough.” Orbit then mentioned her fellow member Woori‘s pregnancy, saying, “There’s good news about a member, right?” Hyunyoung replied with laughter, “Since my unnie got pregnant, I’ve ended up like a lonely duck at Nakdong River.”

She added, “There was clearly a pregnancy ban clause. We really should charge a penalty.” She expressed, “I think that unnie is very irresponsible.” The two formed Rainbow 18 last year and actively promoted, including appearing at Waterbomb in August of the same year.

Upon hearing this, Orbit said, “Actually, they did some promotion, but the activities have been halted. Isn’t this an unprecedented situation in the music industry?” Hyunyoung explained, “Since there haven’t been many activities with Rainbow 18, my unnie tried in vitro fertilization while observing the atmosphere.” Orbit added with a laugh, “Anyway, the clause doesn’t seem to mean much.”

Woori, who debuted in 2009 as part of the group Rainbow, later transitioned to acting and became known through dramas. She married a businessman five years her senior in October 2022, receiving many congratulations.
