Actor Ji Soo Spends Time With His “Princess” In Korea, First Visit Since His Controversy
Last year, Korean actor Kim Ji Soo restarted his entertainment career in the Philippines with new acting projects. Recently, he returned to Korea for the first time since his scandal.

Once one of K-Drama’s rising stars, Ji Soo’s career took a hit in 2021, following accusations of school violence, bullying, sexual harassment, and assault. Ji Soo enlisted in the military, provided an update on the allegations in 2023, then signed with a new agency last year. On August 28, 2024, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, a talent agency based in the Philippines, announced that it had signed Ji Soo.

In 2024, Ji Soo appeared in the series Black Rider, the film Mujigae, and the record-breaking series Abot-Kamay na Pangarap. In 2025, he joined the cast of Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko (also known as My Fairy Grandmother), a fantasy anthology series that premiered in 2017.

On April 22, Ji Soo posted a TikTok video of himself walking along the Han River in Korea. In it, Ji Soo speaks English, which he has been studying in the Philippines. On April 23, Ji Soo shared more memories from his trip, posting a series of photos and a video on Instagram. Some of the photos–screenshots taken from his video–are of his dog, Princess Gongjoo.



Others are pictures of Ji Soo by the Han River.
