Actor Lee Ji Hoon’s Wife Suffers Terrible Miscarriage
Actor Lee Ji Hoon and his wife Ayane revealed that they miscarried their second child at six weeks of pregnancy.
On the 23rd, Ayane posted a long message on her Instagram account saying, “The second child who came to us has gone to heaven.”
She shared a dream she had: “One day, I dreamed that a mouse jumped out of a banana and was thrown out the window.” She added, “That day was the day we went for the second ultrasound, but in the end, we never heard the baby’s heartbeat and had to say goodbye to the child,” evoking sympathy.
Ayane explained, “The reason we started thinking about having a second child was because we thought ‘it would be nice for Ruhee to have siblings.’ It seems the baby wasn’t ready yet and went to be with God,” she said. “That mouse was our second child, and it felt like it was telling us, who were only focused on Ruhee and neglecting the second child.”
She continued, “The child reminded us once again of the miracle of life. Even though we vowed to do anything for Ruhee when she was born, as work and parenting time grew, both my husband and I weren’t able to give Ruhee our full attention. We realized we had taken her growth for granted.”
“Ruhee’s sparkling eyes, her pretty nose, her lips that resemble her brother’s—all precious and miraculous,” she added. “This child reminded us of the value and preciousness that we had forgotten in daily life.”
Finally, she said, “I never wanted to show off my pains during IVF or ask for sympathy, thinking only I needed to know about the hardships. I have no photos of the injections and everything, but these memories with this child are all I have, so I hope this will be the first and last time I share them to remember and treasure.”
“I will take some time to rest my body and mind and slowly prepare again. Until then, I will love Ruhee with all my heart every single day,” she concluded.
Lee Ji Hoon married Ayane, who is 14 years his junior, in 2021.
