Popular Actor Makes Surprise Announcement During Fan Meeting

On October 12, Taiwanese media outlet ET Today reported that actor Yeo Jin Goo personally revealed his enlistment to his fans through a handwritten letter.

He reportedly had a memorable time with fans at his special Asia fan meeting in Taipei to celebrate his 20th debut anniversary.

Following this, he announced his enlistment at the end of the fan meeting.

I feel gratitude, excitement, and regret as I write this letter. The time is approaching for me to leave you for a while and embark on new experiences. Every moment I could see your faces, make eye contact, and smile during my last Asia tour before enlistment was precious.

In an interview conducted last year, he stated, “A specific date hasn’t been set yet. I want to work on as many projects as possible and meet my fans.”

This fan meeting, however, marks the first time he’s revealed a specific enlistment statement.

Meanwhile, his agency has not released an official statement regarding enlistment yet.
