Actress Go Min Si’s Agency Addresses School Violence Allegations

Mystic Story, the agency that represents Go Min Si, has responded to rumors that the actress was involved in bullying other students while she was in school.

Recently, a post titled “We are the victims of actress Go ○○’s school bullying” went viral on DC Inside, a prominent and anonymous Korean forum. The post’s author, who claimed to be Go Min Si’s former middle school classmate, accused the actress of violent behavior and recounted so-called true stories from her school years.

They claimed the Tastefully Yours star had “repeatedly committed school violence, extortion, verbal abuse, and mocked and threatened students with disabilities since middle school, gathering local bullies and outsiders to engage in school violence, habitually stealing the belongings and money of classmates while boasting about it, indicating serious ethical flaws.”

On May 26, a representative for Go Min Si told news outlet OSEN that they were aware of the post, and that the allegations aren’t true. “We have already verified the claims of school violence posted in the online community,” they said, “and as a result of the confirmation with the actress herself, the allegations are baseless.”
