Former K-Drama Actress Addresses Incest Rumors With Her Younger Brother
A Korean actress-turned-streamer told the whole story behind her dating rumors with her biological brother, explaining how that salacious gossip started.
Kang Eun Bi debuted as an actress in 2005 and began her online streaming career in 2016 on Avatar TV. The following year, she opened a streaming account on AfreecaTV and has gone on to win streamer awards for her work. Some of her notable acting credits include Sexi Mong and My Too Perfect Sons.
On March 6, 2025, Kang announced that she would marry interior designer Byun Jun Pil, her boyfriend of 17 years.

On the August 13 episode of Pajama Sisters Party, a web series on the YouTube channel This is Really the Final, Kang talked about her 17-year relationship with her husband, which she had kept secret from the public. Kang said that the incest rumors stemmed from a reporter who had rushed to break the news about her dating life.

Kang said the reporter took a photo from her old account on Cyworld, a Korean social networking platform. That photo wasn’t of Kang and Byun, but rather of her and her brother. Naturally, Kang denied the rumors by stating that the man in the photo was her younger brother.
The issue became more complicated, however, when other journalists managed to dig up a photo of Byun and Kang confessed to being in a relationship after all. The combination of all those factors–Kang denying dating rumors by clarifying that her “boyfriend” was her brother, then later confessing that she was actually dating–caused total confusion.
