Actress Kim Sae Ron Reportedly Apologized In Person To Businesses Affected By Her DUI Accident
On June 24, news outlet YTN reported that actress Kim Sae Ron has personally apologized to those affected by her DUI accident.
The report states that the actress has fulfilled most of her financial obligations to the city for driving into an electric transformer, rendering a busy intersection in Gangnam powerless.
Due to the loss of electricity, businesses in the area couldn’t accept payment by electronic devices or credit/debit cards.
According to the report, the actress personally visited each business affected to apologize. The report also states that the actress has fulfilled almost all of her financial obligations to affected businesses and building owners.
Previously, On May 18, actress Kim Sae Ron was detained and booked by police on suspicion of driving under the influence.
It was later revealed that the actress had been in an accident earlier when she drove her car into a guard rail and slammed into an electric transformer.
The accident occurred in the early hours of the morning, which made the Gangnam intersection, already notorious for rush hour traffic, unbearable for morning commuters.
According to the police, the actress refused to take a breathalyzer test and was taken to a local hospital to take a blood alcohol test. The test results would later show the actress was driving under the influence.
Since then, the actress has taken full responsibility. The actress released an apology and dropped out of the projects she had been working on.
Kim Sae Ron is an actress who debuted as a child actor at the age of nine. One Year later, she would get her first big break when she played the role of Jeong So Mi in the movie The Man From Nowhere, starring actor Won Bin.
