According to an SBS report, three companies that are alleged to have ties with Park Min Young’s ex-boyfriend Kang Jong Hyun have also been recently raided, but it was impossible to say whether he was the reason for the Hook Entertainment raid.

Recently three companies with ties to Kang Jong Hyun were raided. However, according to entertainment insiders, the raid (at Hook Entertainment) had nothing to do with him but instead was due to internal management issues.

Meanwhile, on October 27, Chief Prosecutor ordered a departure ban be placed on Kang Jong Hyun, stating he was a person of interest in an alleged embezzlement case involving Bithumb. Bithumb is one of Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges and has been previously alleged to have ties with Kang Jong Hyun.

Hook Entertainment is home to singers Lee Sun Hee, Lee Seung Gi, and Yoon Yuh Jung.
