On September 22, Ningning shared a story asking fans, “I want to delete all my posts, would that upset you?” She even added a poll with “Yes” and “No” options.
To her surprise, over 4,000 fans — the majority — voted “Yes.” Ningning quickly followed up with a simple but loaded response: “Why”, showing her confusion and sparking discussions among fans.

The timing of her post has drawn extra attention, as aespa recently performed their new track “Rich Man” on Good Morning America to mark their U.S. promotions. Unfortunately, the group faced criticism for lip-syncing and stage preparation both during the broadcast and at a recent awards show.
Despite the controversy, aespa has kept busy with major activities. They released their first single album Dirty Work in June, performed at SMTOWN LIVE 2025 at Tokyo Dome in August, and recently dropped their sixth mini-album with the title track “Rich Man.”
