For the last few months, fans of the girl group PIXY have been confused about the group’s status.

On September 3, after over a year and a half of silence on the group’s social media accounts, a notice was suddenly posted in Korean and English, following a video of another group being posted on PIXY’s social media accounts. The notice apologized for the video and revealed that Allart Entertainment, the group’s agency, was suspended due to bankruptcy, which affected PIXY’s media.

First of all, we sincerely apologize to 3WAY, PIXY fans, and above all, the PIXY members who felt discomfort regarding the ReMake:3WAY (ep. PIXY) teaser video.

Currently, Allart Entertainment is in a state where all business has been suspended due to the bankruptcy and neglect of duties by its CEO, and is in fact in a situation close to dissolution.

In addition, due to creditor relations, the ownership of Allart and PIXY-related channels has already been transferred to a third party.

We would like to clarify that we currently have no direct relationship with Allart, and on request from PIXY’s entire production team, we are informing fans of the current situation.

The problematic video upload was not only for simple promotional purposes but was also meant to support PIXY’s music and activities as former staff members. However, we admit that there was a lack of sufficient caution and judgment in the process, which caused confusion and disappointment to fans, and for that, we deeply apologize.

The teaser videos in question will all be deleted, and we will do our best to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in the future.

Once again, we sincerely apologize to all fans and members who were hurt by this matter, and we will continue to wholeheartedly support PIXY so that they can carry out their activities in better conditions.

PIXY debuted as a six-member group in February 2021 with the digital single “Wings.” By August 2022, the group had reduced to four members following Ella and Satbyeol‘s health-related departures. After adding a member the following month, the group embarked on European and American tours.

In June 2024, many were left surprised after member Dajeong, now known as U_Chae, announced her departure from the group on Instagram. Later that year, member Lola, now known as Choi Yu Jeong, announced her departure similarly.

After member Rinji’s graduation notice called her a “former member of PIXY,” only two members were believed to remain in the group. This notice, despite the promise of support towards PIXY has only further convinced fans that the group silently disbanded and sparked anger.
