What started as a typical performance of his title track, “Panorama,” quickly took a unique turn as Lee Chanhyuk, seated, was covered with an apron by someone in a lab coat standing behind him.

While Lee Chanhyuk starts to sing, the on-stage guest takes a hair trimmer out of his pocket before beginning to shave off the AKMU member’s hair.

The talented idol didn’t miss a note has his head continued to be shaved, proving his mic was on with his impressive live vocals.

At the end of the stage, he sat still with his newly uniform buzz cut while the audience exploded into applause after the bold and eccentric performance.

A fan who attended the Inkigayo filming posted a photo of a lock of hair they were able to keep.
