Along with groups that already debuted, more than one that is currently doing pre-debut activities also appeared at the show. One of these groups is the upcoming boy group LNGSHOT, formed by Jay Park after he previously mentioned his desire to create a boy group.

LNGSHOT were previously introduced by Jay Park during a university performance, and were met with mixed reactions.

Jay Park’s New Idol Group Hit With Criticism Before Even Debuting

LNGSHOT performed at the 2025 MMA ceremony, but before that, they walked the red carpet alongside Jay Park. The group were dressed in coordinating dark colors, with a few individual accent pieces.

The group’s appearance were met with criticism, including comparisons to ALLDAY PROJECT‘s Tarzzan, who has often been criticized for cultural appropriation. Jay Park’s own history of CA was also mentioned, with connections being made to appropriative mannerisms.

However, many came to the group’s defense, stating that there was nothing wrong with their visuals, comparing their concept to BIGHIT Music’s Cortis and insinuating that if it was a group under a larger label or not connected to Jay Park, reactions would be different.

LNGSHOT recently released their first music video, which you can watch below.
