Female duo As One’s Lee Min (46) has passed away.
On August 5, Lee Min passed away suddenly as she was found dead in her home. Police are currently investigating the cause of death.
Agency Brand New Music told Dispatch on August 6, “Please refrain from making excessive speculation until the results are out.”
According to a music industry insider, Lee Min has been active until recently. In June, she released a new single, Happy Birthday, and recently appeared on KBS’s Park Bogum’s Cantabile.
A longtime acquaintance revealed, “She was such a positive friend. It’s hard to believe this has happened as she was having so much fun promoting after such a long time.”
Until recently, she had been balancing work as a singer and an instructor. Another acquaintance added, “I met her last week. She was truly a dedicated friend.”
Meanwhile, Lee Min debuted in 1999 as a member of the female duo As One.
