A fan who is under scrutiny for interrupting K-Pop idols on their well-deserved night out explained her side of the story.
On October 26, 2023, a fan’s video of ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, NCT‘s Jaehyun, and BTS‘s Jungkook quickly went viral.
In the video, a fan is seen walking up to the idols, who were seen hanging out among themselves. After asking the idols for an autograph, the fan is seen trying to start a conversation before Jaehyun politely states, “We’re really sorry, but we’re having our own time.”

The fan then shared another video (uploaded by other fans) that showed her grabbing the cups used by the idols. In the video, the fan reveals she had also asked Jungkook to sing for her.

Understandably, the fan was hit with heavy criticism from fans. Eventually, the fan explained her side of the story.
I heard that my video was spreading without permission and false information was spreading. The guys weren’t with women and we are just fans that support Jungkook. Also that Korean girl in heels next to Cha Eunwoo is not our friend, we saw her and her Korean friend hiding they also noticed the guys. [sic]

According to the fan, they didn’t follow the idols but had saw them by pure coincidence.
And to clarify, we didn’t find them by following them. We were minding our own business having a girls night out, and we saw a group of people, didn’t think anything of it and then turned around and saw jungkook, took like couple seconds to process who this was n then like damn it hit us it actually was jungkook. If you don’t believe me then ask the resto owner for CCTV. [sic]
