BABYMONSTER Member’s Response About Rami’s Return Sparks Backlash
On May 9, 2025, it was announced that BABYMONSTER‘s Rami would go on hiatus to focus on her health.

In the year since, there have been very few updates on the idol as BABYMONSTER has continued promotions without her. YG Entertainment’s continued silence has only heightened concern about the idol’s future in the group, with some fearing she will not return.

Recently, an update from one of the members sparked even more concern.
On May 15, the group held video call events for their most recent comeback, “Choom.”
During a fan’s call with Pharita, the person asked about Rami, saying that fans missed her but weren’t sure the idol could answer. Pharita responded that the group missed her as well, but she didn’t “think I can say anything.”

While there could be any number of reasons for Pharita being unable to respond, but many have expressed anger towards YG Entertainment for the continued confusion over Rami’s hiatus.
Others also felt that the topic should not be brought up to the members, as it can leave them in an uncomfortable situation.
i honestly became sure she’s not coming back after pharitas answer if she was returning they wouldve said shes still recovering or something i dont blame pharita at all but i really wish yg would stop keeping us hanging https://t.co/5JVAkjNxjY

not letting the members openly acknowledge their own groupmate just because they’re on hiatus is weird as fuck. u can literally feel the awkwardness every time the topic comes up. this whole thing is unnecessary and anyone defending it is weird too https://t.co/D3UcmFAfLD

We all miss Rami, but please protect Pharita’s feelings during her individual fancall. She looked so awkward and uncomfortable because of company rules. Let's make her fancall a safe space full of positive energy. Hope everyone understands this.🥺🫶 https://t.co/day6lpdIQU
