Beloved Actress Gets Stalked After Providing Fan Service

A beloved Korean actress confessed to being a victim of long-term stalking.

On the 18th, the JTBC variety show Knowing Bros aired an episode featuring actors Jung Bo Seok, Ye Ji Won, and Park Ha Seon.

In the episode, Park Ha Seon opened up about a stalker who had been harassing her for a long time.

She said, “When I was in my twenties, a fan came by. Usually, fans ask celebrities to write ‘I love you’ when asking for autographs. I normally don’t write that, but he got angry asking me to write it, so I just gave in and wrote it. That turned out to be our Day One.”

She continued, “He even came to me right before my wedding. He brought a bunch of diaries and asked me what we were going to do about those,” sharing a story that surprised everyone.

Asked if she reported it given the long period of harassment, Park Ha Seon replied, “I did report it, but he was good at evading. If it’s not written as ‘Park Ha Seon’ but something like ‘Ha Seoni’, the report doesn’t go through. I submitted everything to the police, but they said there was nothing they could do.”

Regarding social media, which she said she doesn’t update on the same day, she said, “If I post on social media the same day, he shows up. Once, I was eating with a friend at a restaurant, and someone approached saying, ‘I’m a fan. I saw your social media and came here.’”

Previously, Park Ha Seon had revealed stalking experiences on various variety shows. She shared, “Before marrying Ryu Soo Young, at an event, he gave me diaries he had written all this time, looking at me with eyes full of grudges. Those diaries were filled with imagined stories. The truly terrifying part was that he believed we had a child together. It was really distressing and scary, but my husband told me not to react,” recounting specific incidents.

Ryu Soo Young and Park Ha Seon married in 2017 and have a daughter together.
