Beloved Group’s Accounts Unfollow Members, Delete Everything In “Silent” Disbandment

“…didn’t even get a proper disbandment.”

Social media is a prevalent promotional tool, so every K-Pop group that debuts is active on at least one platform. Groups share various posts, whether simple updates on their official activities or personal ones featuring the members like below.

Recently, a beloved group’s social media seemed to trigger suspicions of a “silent” disbandment.

Earlier this year, fans of the girl group TRI.BE were surprised to hear that the company the group were under was reportedly bankrupt. This sparked concerns over their potential disbandment, which only continued when the group’s Bubble was announced to end on May 30.

Beloved 4th Gen Group’s Disbandment All But Confirmed With Recent Activity

As fans waited for news of anything from the group, some noticed changes happening to TRI.BE’s Instagram account.

While the username did not change, the group’s posts were suddenly deleted, and the accounts following was dropped to zero. The name on the account is now Pocket Entertainment, with an email that seems to be connected to an Iron Entertainment. The same was done to the group’s TikTok account, which has over 1 million followers and has begun posting various musical content.

With the surprising update, and TR Entertainment’s bankrupcy, fans believe the group might have silently disbanded, rather than had an official and proper update shared.

Hopefully the members of TRI.BE are able to continue to pursue their dreams in whatever form that is.
