A beloved Korean singer faces controversy regarding her use of a certain item while camping.

The controversy arose from a video released on the 12th. The video showed singer Baek Ji Young going camping with her husband Jung Seok Won, during which she was seen taking and using Coupang’s fresh food delivery insulated bag, the “Fresh Bag,” outside.

As the video spread through online communities and social media, some netizens responded with remarks like, “Using a delivery bag for personal purposes is inappropriate,” and, “Isn’t taking an item meant for collection outside a problem?” leading to increased controversy.

The Fresh Bag is a reusable insulated bag Coupang uses for fresh food delivery, which is supposed to be collected after delivery is completed.

As the controversy intensified, Baek Ji Young quickly issued an apology and deleted the problematic scenes, taking prompt action.

On the 13th, Baek Ji Young bowed her head and said through a pinned comment on her YouTube channel, “I apologize to viewers for causing concern by showing a scene where I took the Coupang Fresh Bag outside for use.”

She added, “I showed improper behavior out of ignorance,” and stated, “I deeply empathize with the criticisms raised and have immediately deleted and re-edited the relevant scene.“
