Broadcaster Suh Dong Joo recently revealed that after undergoing infertility treatment and successfully becoming pregnant, she unfortunately experienced a missed miscarriage, drawing sympathy from the public. However, she added that she would not give up, prompting waves of support.

Earlier, Suh Dong Joo shared the good news of her pregnancy through IVF, showing a positive pregnancy test with two lines. Despite this, she expressed anxiety, saying, “A small gestational sac has formed and is growing little by little, but it’s not a situation where I can be completely reassured,” and added, “The waiting period was really hard.”

In fact, as the gestational sac gradually grew, hope was held on to, but uncertainties such as the absence of a yolk sac persisted, and ultimately, the pregnancy could not be sustained. On April 2, Seo Dong Joo revealed on her personal YouTube channel that she underwent a dilation and curettage surgery and said goodbye to her baby.

Reflecting on the past, Suh Dong Joo shared, “I tried everything to protect the baby, but it seems the time wasn’t right yet,” conveying a complex emotional state despite doing her best.

She said, “I kept hope alive by waiting a week, but eventually confirmed that everything had stopped.” Referring to the baby as “Chilbok” (meaning “the seventh blessing”), Suh Dong Joo hinted that she plans to try for a second child again next season.
