Beloved K-Pop Group’s Honest Reaction To Low Ticket Sales Gains Attention
When a group announces a tour, fans are thrilled at the opportunity to see their favorite idols in person. For groups with a larger fan base, the biggest concern is securing the desired tickets as the demand can lead to shows selling out.
One concern for groups or idols with smaller fan bases is selling enough tickets to make the tour financially worthwhile.
Recently, a fourth-generation boy group’s members reacted to their lower than expected ticket sales.
Tt was announced that boy group JUSTB would embark on a U.S tour, partially crowd funded by pre-announcement ticket sales. The first cities to reach 100 tickets sold would be included on the tour, which has since been announced as of January.

As of writing, it appears that there are more tickets remaining to the shows than previous appearances in the United States, according to member Geonu.
In a series of messages, he expressed some of his concerns, while also sharing reasons for the lowered ticket sales, which included increased flight prices, the number of other events occurring at or around the same time, and that the group were returning too close to their last tour and fans had not had a chance to make more money.

- And I also have a bit of an honest concern.
- The ticket sales for our tour are lower than when we came to North America before.
- I think I know the reasons why.
Many reacted to the post, including JUSTB member Bain, offering encouragement and sharing information about the group’s tour.
