Beyoncé’s Latest Award Show Appearance Is Garnering Attention Among K-Pop Fans

Slow is down make it Beyoncé.

On March 29, American singer-songwriter Beyoncé officially entered her “country” era with her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter. This “Western” style album is the second installment of Beyoncé’s trilogy project following Renaissance.

So, when you look at Beyoncé’s social media these days, you see that she is pictured in fits that suit her current concept. This includes a lot of cowboy-inspired outfits, consisting of cowboy hats, boots, fringe, etc.

Her most recent post of herself at The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, featured above, reminded netizens of something else. Not just cowboys.

K-Pop fans quote-tweeted Pop Base’s post of Beyoncé’s look from the night. They hilariously drew comparisons to ATEEZ‘s “Bouncy” era.

She fits right in, doesn’t she?!

In the “Bouncy” era, ATEEZ’s Mingi and Hongjoong were especially styled like cowboys dressed in black leather, much like Beyoncé’s current aesthetic.

Some took us back to MONSTA X‘s “Fantasia” era in 2020! Joohoney rocked black leather and a cowboy hat in the MV.

We love this look!
