BIGBANG’s Taeyang And Daesung Discharged From Military

Congrats to Taeyang and Daesung!

On October 10, BIGBANG’s Taeyang and Daesung attended the discharge ceremony at the Military Grounds Operations Command Center in Yongin after completing their mandatory military service.

Although YG Entertainment requested that fans not to visit military discharge, a large crowd of supporters came to the ceremony.

Taeyang commented, “I still can’t believe that I completed my military service. My time here can be seen as short or long, depending on how you look at it, but either way, it was a truly meaningful experience. I want to express my thanks to the officers and soldiers who helped me through these past 20 months.”

Daesung commented, “I’ve also learned and felt a lot of things during my time here. I was able to feel things that I wasn’t able to feel in my normal life. I’ve also learned how to empathize and understand other people. I want to say I love you and fighting and to all the soldiers and officers who are working hard to protect our country!”

When asked about future activities, Taeyang replied, “We are discussing together our opinions to agree on how we can repay our fans for their support and love. We will work hard to show a side to us that we couldn’t show while we were in the military.”

After the discharge ceremony, Taeyang and Daesung took photos with fans and thanked them for their support.

With T.O.P and G-Dragon previously discharged from the military, all four members have completed their military service.

Congrats to the group for completing the mandatory service!
