BigHit Entertainment Ranks #4 On “World’s Most Innovative Companies Of 2020”

Congratulations to the company!

On March 10, Fast Company came out with a list of the top 50 companies in 2020 that have the most profound impact on culture and industry.

Based on its huge impact in these categories this year, BigHit Entertainment was ranked at #4 on the list – only below huge companies Snap, Microsoft, and Tesla!

This incredible feat is all thanks to the enormous influence that BTS has made in the world this year, selling out concert venues, breaking record sales in albums, and constantly making and selling new merchandise. Interest and love for Korean culture has become much more widespread throughout the world thanks to their influence, so it’s no wonder that they were chosen for this list!

Here’s what Fast Company had to say about the company:

Seoul’s Olympic Stadium was packed during pop band BTS’s three sold-out shows last October, but some fans bypassed long merch lines by preordering items via the e-commerce app Weverse Shop (formerly called Weply), which offers exclusive band-related products. Others checked wait times for food kiosks and posted messages to BTS members through the social networking app Weverse. These services weren’t built by tech startups, but by a subsidiary of Big Hit Entertainment, the Seoul-based music management and production company that represents BTS and other artists.

Thanks to their innovative thinking and app-creation for online sales, BigHit Entertainment won this recognition. Congratulations to them!
