In the past, Jennie has always gained attention for her appearance and is always beautiful with looks that normally involve lighter makeup and a more ethereal hairstyle, almost like a fairy.

While Jennie always looks beautiful, many have always loved Jennie with something darker to showcase the idol’s visuals.

On March 7 (KST), Jennie was set to make an appearance at Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week show. As expected, fans were anticipating her appearance even hours before the event was due to start.

As soon as Jennie arrived, the crowds went crazy as the idol looked flawless in a white jumpsuit with an exposed back.

Along with the bright look, netizens noticed Jennie’s hair scraped back into a plait and accessorized with her statement bows. It was also clear that Jennie’s makeup was a lot different than normal, with darker colors and a bolder eye.

Even though Jennie looked stunning coming out of the car, it was a relief that news outlets quickly posted closer shots of the idol inside the venue.

Even in pictures from fansites, it’s clear how happy Jennie was and the fact that her look was truly iconic.

After the images and videos were shared online, netizens couldn’t get over the change in hair and makeup. While Jennie usually has quite flowy hair, the slick look was refreshing, and many couldn’t hide their obsession with Jennie’s much darker makeup style.

While many couldn’t stop praising the idol, BLINKs believed that the change in Jennie came from having a different makeup artist, as many shared that their OG stylist Maeng didn’t travel with Jennie.

Yet, she’s not the first member who has gained attention for a changing makeup style. Last month, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo also gained attention when attending a DIOR show because netizens loved the new makeup style and the idol’s lighter shade of hair.

As always, although BLINKs love BLACKPINK’s style, it isn’t surprising that a change is welcomed as Jennie can suit all concepts, including darker shades.
