After a long wait, Jennie finally released her beloved track “You & Me,” which gained a lot of love while she was performing it during the BORN PINK shows.

After the news of the song was announced, fans were even more excited when it was revealed that the cover was a collaboration with Sailor Moon author Naoko Takeuchi.

Considering how beautiful the design was, it wasn’t surprising that netizens couldn’t wait for the merchandise. After a long wait, on October 17, YG Entertainment revealed what BLINKs could buy based on the collaboration between Jennie and Takeuchi.

The photos on the tweet included cushions, clothes, and phone cases.

All of the products were available on Weverse to preorder and had a wide range of prices, but they were still deemed expensive as they didn’t include shipping.

When the products were posted, netizens couldn’t hide the “lack of effort” that was put into the products.

In particular, with such a beautiful concept and design work by the OG artist, they could’ve done a lot of things with the products. Instead, YG Entertainment just took the OG design and plastered it on the merchandise. After finally releasing the song, many thought Jennie deserved much more.

After waiting so long for Jennie to release another song officially and the excitement for the collaboration with Takeuchi, BLINKs have expressed their disappointment. In particular, amidst conversations about BLACKPINK’s contract renewal, fans believe Jennie deserves more.
