Chanel debuted their 2022/2023 Métiers D Art collection in Dakar, Senegal, last December and brought their show to Tokyo on June 1 as “a symbol of the longstanding friendship between CHANEL and Japan, this event builds a bridge between two of the most creative cultural capitals.”

Among the prestigious fashion event attendees were Chanel ambassadors Nana KomatsuKristen Stewart, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie.

Jennie arrived at the event in a Chanel outfit fresh from the 2023/2024 fall/winter ready-to-wear collection.

The BLACKPINK member wore Look 25 from the collection, which consisted of a cape coat, a camellia choker, a rhinestone headpiece, fingerless gloves, and white lace leggings for a modern twist to a classic style.

Following the show, Jennie continued to be the main event when she gave an exclusive remixed performance of her song “You & Me” and sang classic songs “Fly Me To The Moon,” which was popularized by American singer Frank Sinatra, and “Killing Me Softly With His Song” by The Fugees.

Jennie changed into a 70’s-esque mini-dress for her captivating performances, looking stunning in her retro fashion look.

The dress is also from Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2023-2024 collection.
