Acclaimed French News Outlet Throws Major Shade At BLACKPINK
French newspaper Le Parisien threw major shade at BLACKPINK.
On September 2, France’s Le Parisien published a review of all concerts held at the State De France and Paris La Défense Arena over the past summer. The newspaper stated that the list was made objectively.
As this list is absolutely objective, some will be happy, jealous, and miserable.

On this day, Le Parisien claimed that BLACKPINK’s July Encore concert was the worst among international acts. The newspaper revealed why it had given the group the lowest rank on its list.
Just because audiences filled the State De France (venue) doesn’t mean the performance is good. What we thought after leaving BLACKPINK’s concert was that the choreography was too textbook, and the members would often walk in front of each other due to miscommunication.

The publication then continued its criticism of the show and seemingly lamented the girls for communicating with fans.
During the latter part of the show, Jennie suddenly left the stage, and the remaining members incredulously started calling out audiences-held posters. This was not a performance befitting the young Koreans’ popularity.

Previously, BLACKPINK performed at the State De France on July 15. The concert drew an incredible 55,000 people.
Notably, number one on Le Parisien’s list of best concerts was The Weeknd.
