BLACKPINK’s Rosé Reveals Her Method To Overcoming Negative Thoughts

Rosé’s figured out the best way to face negativity!

BLACKPINK‘s Rosé recently participated in a stunning pictorial with Elle Korea! Along with her gorgeous photoshoot, Rosé also sat down for an interview where she shared great advice on dealing with negative emotions.

While Rosé clearly has incredible talent and a successful career, just like everyone else, she can also face times of hate, distress, and indifference. Out of the three, Rosé explained that the feeling of hate is the scariest.

Q: Between being able to feel negative emotions like hate or pain vs. becoming completely indifferent to emotions, which do you fear more?

I think it’s more frightening to hate someone. Feeling such negativity would be painful. I feel like indifference, on the other hand, is a point that a person reaches after learning to let go. So I don’t particularly find indifference as a bad thing.

Instead of keeping emotions in, Rosé expressed the importance of letting them out! Rosé claimed that she often feels a negative weight lifted off of her after a good talk or cry.

Q: How do you overcome negative emotions?

I think it’s important to express emotions to overcome various feelings such as anger, sadness, or being upset over a situation. Even if I just talk to the wall, I feel my heart becomes lighter after pouring it out and crying. At the same time, I think about the steps I have to go through in the future and the positive aspects of this experience. I think good energy and hormones come out after.
