BLACKPINK’s Rosé Knew She Made A Fashion Error When She Found Out Just How Much Jennie’s Pants Cost

She got jealous.

BLACKPINK is one of the most successful K-Pop girl groups thus far. With their millions of YouTube views and numerous endorsements, they’ve each racked up successful financial profiles.

Because of this, they’re not afraid to spend thousands of dollars on single items of clothing. No matter if it’s something as small as a watch or as eye-catching as a jacket, they’re not strangers to luxury goods.

At the same time, however, BLACKPINK also wears affordable clothing in every setting. They’re sometimes spotted wearing items that even those on a budget can enjoy. To the girls, style is more important than brand name.

This was seen in a deleted scene from their documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky. Rosé and Jennie hung out in the recording studio and talked casually while waiting to begin. The main vocalist couldn’t help but compliment her unnie‘s pants, loving how similar it was to her own: “I think I have the same pants as you!

Jennie denied it, saying she bought the jeans online: “This? No. No? It was only fifteen bucks.”

Rosé couldn’t believe what she was hearing—she exclaimed over and over again that it looked exactly like her own.

Unfortunately, she paid a premium for the clothing despite it being the same quality as Jennie’s much more affordable one.

Wow, I got it for $1000 USD but it’s exactly the same.

After finding out that Jennie bought it online, Rosé concluded that she needed to shop digitally more often instead of visiting physical stores.

Upon hearing their conversation, Teddy and Jisoo couldn’t hold back their amused comments.

Teddy: And you spent $1,000 USD?

Jisoo: Sorry about that. That’s a pity. It’s a pity. Oh my god. Sounds bad!
