BLACKPINK Suffer Serious Hacking Incidents On Multiple Platforms Causing Shocking Consequences

Fans are furious.

BLACKPINK is facing a wave of alarming hacking incidents across major music platforms, raising concerns among fans and netizens. What began as seemingly minor issues that could seem like glitches has escalated into a serious disruption affecting their comeback with “JUMP.”

In the past, the group’s account has been visibly tampered with. Their official profile picture was replaced with a photo of KISS OF LIFE, specifically from a past live broadcast that had sparked controversy for alleged racist behavior. The image change seemed targeted, and an accompanying caption alluded to BLACKPINK’s past controversies, where several members were exposed to have said the “n-word” in pre-debut song covers.

In addition, the album preview video for BLACKPINK’s 2022 hit “Shut Down” was replaced with an inappropriate animated clip.

Now, the hacking has been repeated. When “JUMP” was charting at No. 1 on Spotify Korea, the track’s official credits were changed to unknown artists named Blocky and Neriim. As a result, the song was removed from major playlists and lost its autoplay position. This change led to a loss of over one million streams, and the rankings dropped significantly.

The problems weren’t limited to Spotify. BLACKPINK’s music on Apple Music was also targeted. The track credits were edited to “The blackpink.” Fans reported that when playing the songs, the audio played in fast-forward, and chart rankings took a hit, with one track dropping altogether off the daily chart.

Even Shazam showed altered information, with unfamiliar names appearing instead of BLACKPINK.

Despite achieving impressive results overseas with little to no promotions for “JUMP,” these repeated, coordinated attacks appear to have caused real damage. So far, YG Entertainment has not released an official statement regarding the situation, leaving fans both confused and frustrated.
