On January 16, the official Twitter of Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) posted the official announcement of their performance at their show this year. The TGC event will be held on February 29, as a special celebration of their 30th anniversary since the show was established in 2005.

TGC is a semi-annual fashion show that was launched in 2005. The show predominantly showcases the fashionable streetwear of the current season. This year, the show is centered around the spring/summer fashion of 2020.

BLACKPINK’s performance this year will be their third one for the fashion show, having previously performed at the Istyle Presents TGC Hiroshima 2017 By Tokyo Girls Collection Autumn/Winter in December 2017, and Takagi Presents TGC KitaKyushu 2018 by Tokyo Girls Collection in October 2018.
