BLACKPINK’s Jennie Has Been Offered A Role On HBO’s “The Idol” Starring The Weeknd
On June 17, news outlet TV Daily reported that BLACKPINK’s Jennie had been offered a role on the upcoming HBO series The Idol.
The series is Co-created by Euphoria‘s Sam Levinson, The Weeknd, and Reza Fahim. The series will feature The Weeknd, actress Lily-Rose Depp, and Troye Sivan.
Fans had long speculated something was in the works when Jennie was spotted with The Weeknd in Los Angeles last November.
If Jennie accepted the offer, she would be the second BLACKPINK member to feature in a drama series after member Jisoo who starred in the Disney Plus drama Snowdrop in 2021.
